Repeat Prescriptionsmedication7

If your doctor has agreed for your long-term medication to be issued on a repeat prescription basis you can order in a number of ways

  • In Person - Bring your tear-off slip into reception with the required items clearly marked. 
  • By Post - Send your tear-off slip by post. You can enclose a stamped, addressed envelope if you wish us to post your prescription back, otherwise you may collect it.
  • By Fax - Requests are accepted by fax on 01902 349411. Please mark your prescription for the attention of the Prescription Clerk.
  • Online - Follow the link at the top of this page and complete a simple one-off registration.

Please note: we cannot accept prescription requests over the telephone as this may lead to errors being made.

Prescriptions may be collected by you, your representative, or you may ask a pharmacist of your choice to collect your prescription and deliver your medication.

The practice now participates in the electronic prescription services (EPS).  It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.  For more information on this service, please visit, your pharmacy or speak to the reception team.

Medication Reviews

If you are taking repeat prescriptions your medication will be regularly reviewed by a member of the clinical team. You may be invited to the surgery for an annual check, either at one of our long-term conditions review clinics or in general surgery. It is not always necessary for you to attend the surgery - please check with the receptionist before making an appointment. If you have any concerns regarding your medication, please feel free to contact us any time.

48_hours Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
